Danish Citizenship Test

The citizenship test is about Danish society, culture, and history, and you must pass this exam to be considered for Danish citizenship. You can register to take the exam twice a year, summer and winter.

Test Date

The Danish Citizenship Test is held twice a year, in the summer and the winter.

The next test will be held on November 26, 2025.

There are no re-take tests due to illness. If you are sick, you must wait and register for the next test, and you will need to pay a new registration fee.

If you wish to take the test at Lolland Language School, you can register to do so with us.

Registration Deadline

The registration deadline for the tests is 1-2 months in advance of each test date.

The final registration deadline for autumn is October 22, 2025.

When you register, please remember to inform the language school if you are dyslexic, or if you have physical or mental challenges, that we must take into account in connection with your test.

Registration Fee

When you register for the test, you must pay a fee of 905 DKK (2025 rate).

The fee must be payed via MobilePay 115011. It is important that you write your name and the test level in the message before you approve the payment. Your registration is first valid, when you receive a confirmation message from Lolland Language School that we have received your payment.

FAQ - Danish Citizenship Test

You should receive a letter in your e-Boks with your results approximately two weeks after taking the Danish Citizenship Test.
