## FAQ - Danish exam

###

How do I get a topic for the oral (mundtlig) exam in PD1 or PD2?

If you are taking the Danish 1 (Prøve i Dansk 1) or Danish 2 (Prøve i Dansk 2) oral exam, you will typically agree on a presentation topic in collaboration with your teacher.

If you are a self-directed student (selvstuderende), you must decide on your presentation topic with the teacher who oversees the exam preparation or information session for self-directed students.

If you are taking the Danish 3 (Prøve i Dansk 3) exam, you will be assigned a presentation topic for your oral exam by the school’s examiner. The topic will be sent to your e-Boks no later than five working days before the exam.

###

When will I get the results of my exam?

You will receive the results of your written exam approximately 14 days after the exam.

This means that you know the results of your written exam before taking your oral exam.

Your results will be sent to your e-Boks.

You will receive the results for your oral exam immediately after the exam.

###

                                    Why can't I continue with DU2 after completing DU1?

In Denmark,
you are generally only entitled to take one Danish Education – either
Danish 1, 2 or 3.

This means
that when you have completed Danish Education 1, you cannot automatically
continue to Danish Education 2.

If you
would like to further develop your Danish language skills, and if the courses
are appropriate for you, you can continue to learn Danish at FVU (Forberedende
Voksenundervisning)—Preparatory Adult Education.

Contact our
administration team at Lolland Language School if you need further guidance
