Adult Preparatory Adult Education (PEA/FVU) for employees

What is Preparatory Adult Education (PAE/FVU)?

• FVU courses are preparatory adult education for those who want to enhance their skills for everyday life, work, and the future.
• FVU courses aim to improve students' Danish, English, IT, and math skills.
• FVU courses are free of charge and are aimed at employees with Danish as a second language.
• Each course lasts 4-6 months and is tailored to the needs of your workplace.
• The minimum number of students to start a class is 10.

We would be happy to visit your company to perform a joint screening of your employees at no cost.

Admission Requirements

• Employees must be at least 25 years old.
• Students must have already completed a Danish Education program (DU1, DU2, or DU3).
• The employee must complete a screening that includes a test and an interview to determine whether the course is appropriate and which level they should begin at.
  

Course Offerings

• FVU-Start: To help your employees improve their Danish speaking skills.
• FVU Reading: To help your employees develop their Danish reading, spelling, or writing skills.
• FVU English: To help your employees develop their basic English skills.
• FVU Mathematics: To help your employees improve their skills in mathematics.
• FVU Digital: To help your employees strengthen their basic IT skills.

Course Schedule and Location

• Our teaching staff will come to your workplace at the pre-arranged time and location.
• There are various teaching options in the morning, afternoon, and evening.
• Course textbooks are free of charge, but employees are responsible for their own PC, notebook, pencil, and eraser.
